Corvettes at Carlisle - Team Lingenfelter

From racing at Road America earlier in the week to Corvettes at Carlisle.  Ken and I have covered a lot of ground catching up with friends that travel from all over to Carlisle, Pennsylvania to one of the biggest Corvette shows of the year coveted by many!! 

Thursday is usually our big travel day departing from the car collection.  We hit the road mid morning and arrive in Carlisle late afternoon at the Carlisle Fairgrounds.  We pick up our packet of information and make our way to our reserved parking spot and venture out checking out the show.  The biggest highlight is visiting the Corvette Team's tent, and that included the ZR1X this year.  Actually, several of them we're in attendance.  The new Roswell Green was a show stopper paired up with yellow seatbelts and yellow calipers. It would be very tempting to order a new Corvette in this color.  I happen to be partial to yellow, and plan on ordering the new Competition Yellow.  Ken on the other hand is partial to White exterior and red interior which is as classic as you can get in a Corvette since 1953.

Friday we arrived early at the Fairgrounds, the place was packed.  During the morning we picked up our packet of information for Celebrity judging.  I found my pick instantly, a yellow C8 Corvette Hot wheels edition. The car was tastefully modified and just a show stopper.  

At 10am Ken and I both signed posters along with the Corvette Team and other notable figures in the Corvette Community.  It's a complete honor to be asked to participate. 

We also attended the Tech Talk at the main stage both Friday & Saturday hosted by the Corvette Team showing off two ZR1X Corvettes.  New options, and very excited to hear all the latest and greatest. 

Our performance company, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering sponsored the autocross.  Nice to see two ladies finish 1st and 2nd in different classes.  One driving a C6 and the other a C8.  Both with Slicks, just tearing it up our there!! Congratulations to Tracy Gaudu, OFTD Ladies racing with a modified Lingenfelter Corvette pictured below with Ken Lingenfelter!! 

And last but not least, don’t miss the Corvette Parade on Saturday evening! If you've never been to Carlisle, it's time to start planning for 2026. Plus, Hershey, Pennsylvania is just a short drive away and makes for a fantastic day trip.

What New at the Lingenfelter Car Collection?

We're working on the date for our annual Breast Cancer Open House in October.  New Lingenfelter and Corvette apparel is arriving daily.  We have two retail shops open now including the Car Collection location and the Performance Shop off 96/Beck Rd in Wixom, Michigan.

Another new Release is Men's and Ladies C8 Corvette Puffy Vests in Black and Red.  These would make the perfect holiday gift or just for yourself.  I tried this vest on and it appears to fit true to size.  Looking forward to feedback from those of you that plan on purchasing one. 

Newly released Corvette Jacket that is arriving any day is this Gray & Black Men's Full Zip. This would make a great jacket heading into fall paired with a Corvette Hat.
